Is the Trump hotel in Las Vegas 2 far from all the action on the strip?

Im going to las vegas for 5 nights and would like to stay near all the attractions of the strip is the Trump hotel near the strip or a bit 2 far out.

It is not on Las Vegas Blvd or The Strip. It is behind Fashion Show (from the south) which is the mall opposite of Wynn. I think its location is alright but definitely not the best.
